Azerbaijan e-Visa for Indians
USD 25, three business days, one official portal. Baku is the easiest 'abroad-abroad' trip an Indian passport can take right now — if you avoid the lookalike websites.

Baku has climbed every Indian travel-trend list for 2026, and the visa deserves part of the credit: a clean electronic system, a flat fee, and approvals measured in days. This is as friction-free as international paperwork gets.
The numbers
USD 25 for the standard ASAN e-visa, plus a small service charge shown at checkout on the official portal. Standard processing is 3 business days; an urgent tier turns it around in hours for a higher fee. The visa allows a 30-day single-entry stay, and you must enter within 90 days of issue.
The only real trap
Lookalike websites. Azerbaijan's official portal is evisa.gov.az — full stop. Third-party sites charge USD 60–90 for the same USD 25 visa, sometimes with slower handling. If a website's fee does not start with the official number, close the tab.
The file (genuinely this short)
- Passport valid at least 3 months beyond your stay, scanned clearly
- The online form — details exactly as printed in the passport
- Card payment in USD
Print the approved e-visa and travel with the same passport you applied on; a renewed passport orphans the visa.
Trip notes from the desk
Four nights covers Baku's old city, the Flame Towers, Gobustan's rock art and a mud-volcano detour comfortably. Winter city breaks from Delhi work beautifully — flight time is short and the fare calendar is kind. Pairing with Tbilisi? The two visas are separate applications; we sequence them so both arrive before ticketing.
How we work it
Filed on the official portal at the official fee, details triple-checked against your passport, urgent tier used only when the calendar truly demands it. Our Baku package includes the e-visa filing as standard.
