Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 — Srinagar Arrival — Garden Evening
Airport pickup, check in, and an easy first evening at the Mughal Gardens with a stroll along the Boulevard.
Day 2 — Gulmarg Day
Drive to Gulmarg (2 hrs). Gondola Phase 1 to Kongdoori — snow play in season, meadows in summer. Optional Phase 2 to Apharwat on live availability. Back to Srinagar by evening.
Day 3 — To Pahalgam via the Saffron Route
Drive to Pahalgam past Pampore's saffron fields, Avantipora ruins and cricket-bat workshops. Evening free by the Lidder river.
Day 4 — Pahalgam Valleys
Local union cabs (as mandated) to Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Chandanwari. Ponywalas will offer everything; your driver will tell you what's worth it.
Day 5 — Back to Srinagar — Houseboat Night
Return to Srinagar, check into your houseboat, golden-hour shikara ride on Dal Lake, dinner on board with kahwa on the deck.
Day 6 — Departure
Floating-market glimpse for early risers, then airport transfer.

Cancellation policy
30+ days before departure: full refund minus ₹2,500 per person processing fee.
15–29 days: 50% of the package cost is retained.
7–14 days: 75% is retained.
Under 7 days or no-show: non-refundable.
Hotel and airline penalties during peak or festival dates may be higher and are advised at booking. Wherever we can recover more from suppliers, we pass it back.

- Why aren't Pahalgam valley cabs included?
- Local unions mandate their own cabs for Betaab/Aru/Chandanwari — outside vehicles aren't allowed. We tell you the going rate upfront (~₹2,500–3,500 per cab for all three) instead of padding it invisibly into the package.
- Is Kashmir safe for families right now?
- Tourist circuits — Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonmarg — run normally and are well-policed. We track advisories daily and will always tell you straight if timing ever looks wrong.
